Solvang Festival Theater
About 25 miles north of Santa Barbara is the quaint little town of Solvang. Solvang has a population of almost 5,000 people, making it the largest city in the Santa Ynez Valley. Solvang is considered the Danish capital of North America because it was founded in 1911 by Danish educators from the Midwestern part of the United States. There are many unique things to do in Solvang and one of those things is to visit the Solvang Festival Theater, which Ian Filippini Santa Barbara has done from time to time.
The Solvang Festival Theater is an outdoor theater that seats up to 700 guests. There are professional productions put on at the theater, as well as some amateur productions as well. In addition to plays, there are also concerts and other events that are put on at the theater. Ian Filippini Santa Barbara has been to a few concerts at the Solvang Festival Theater. Ian Filippini Santa Barbara really enjoys attending events here because it is fun and unique being outdoors.
The Solvang Festival Theater is only open June-October, so make sure you research before you visit.
